You will travel through villages and agricultural areas as you make your way to Kidepo Valley National Park after a leisurely breakfast. You’ll check in when you get to the park, and then you’ll eat lunch. One of Africa’s best wilderness areas is Kidepo. A savanna panorama stretches in all directions from Apoka, at the center of the national park, far beyond the 1442 km2 gazetted area, towards vistas framed by distant mountain ranges. You’ll take a nighttime game drive later.

Unlike the majority of Ugandans, the Karamojong choose to wear “traditional” clothing, such as a shawl that resembles a blanket and is frequently red and black. Extensive beading is worn by women. Day 5: Transfer to Murchison falls national park.

After breakfast, you will leave early for Gulu and then Murchison Falls National Park through the northern sector, stopping for lunch en route. The stunning Murchison Falls, the park’s focal point and the last of an 80-kilometer length of rapids are created when the Victoria Nile plunges 45 meters over the remaining rift valley wall and cuts through the park. The river is reduced to a broad, tranquil stream that silently runs across the rift valley floor into Lake Albert after the powerful cascade drains the last of the river’s force. Elephants, giraffes, and buffalo are just a few of the species you may witness as you travel through the park to get to the hotel; permanent residents include hippos, Nile crocodiles, and aquatic birds.
